Peter M. Rosenthal

Peter M. Rosenthal served as municipal attorney in several municipalities. As an attorney for the Village of Rosemont, Mr. Rosenthal was involved in bond issues and in handling legal matters arising out of Rosemont's ownership and operation of the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, the Allstate Arena, and the Rosemont Theatre, as well as handling the village's regular legal matters.

Mr. Rosenthal had considerable experience in the area of Tax Increment Financing and Economic Development. He also had extensive experience in the area of litigation and handled cases involving many different aspects of municipal and school affairs, including zoning, civil rights and home rule powers. He prepared briefs and argued cases on appeal before the Illinois Appellate Court, the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

In addition to representing units of local government, Mr. Rosenthal represented real estate developers in zoning, land use and real estate matters, including related litigation.
